Cisco 828 router
The Cisco 828 SHDSL router provides
business class security for the office and teleworker. It includes
a 4-port Ethernet hub to allow simple shared access of the SDSL
service without the need for setting up separate LAN infrastructure.
The Cisco IOS software includes the latest firewall and VPN
features essential for mission-critical applications.

When using an always-on connection
such as SDSL, you need more security than can be provided
by simple packet filtering. The Cisco 828 uses Dynamic Access
Control (stateful packet inspection) so it will only allow
requested traffic through it.

- VPNs are essential for serving teleworkers
from the headquarters/office and are also used to make LAN

the latest IP security standards including PPTP, and 3DES
IPSec.
